  1. Has been actively associated with UNESCO Club movement in India and Asia Pacific since 1987

  2. Was Director of Non-formal learning Centers for poor and deprived children in clusters in Delhi from 1990 to 2007

  3. Has organized a number of National & Regional Training Programs, Seminars, Symposiums, Workshops and discussions on important topics related to UNESCO and United Nations, particularly Peace Education, World Heritage, Culture of Peace, Human Rights, Environmental Education, Sustainable Development, EFA, International Understanding etc.

  4. Had been a resource person for Teacher's Training Programme on Peace Education and ASPnet schools in India organized by National Council of Education, Research and Training (NCERT) and Indian National Commission for UNESCO, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.

  5. Key note speaker on World Environment Day organized by Department of Tourism, Govt. of Assam.

  6. Conducted the first ever Training Seminar for UNESCO Club Leaders and ASPnet teachers organized by the National Commission for UNESCO, Bhutan in December 2008 and 1st Training Seminar of the prospective UNESCO Club Leaders and ASPnet Schools organized by Ministry of Education of Maldives and the National Commission for UNESCO, Maldives in July 2010.

  7. Written and produced a feature film "Babloo Ke Sapne" (Dreams of Babloo) to motivate out of school children. This film has been recommended by UNESCO New Delhi Office and United Nations Information Centre, New Delhi, to be shown in India & Asian Region and was included in two International Children's Film Festivals.

  8. Edited and published a book entitled "A Guide to UNESCO's World Heritage Sites in India".

  9. Published articles/opinion highlighting Social Issues in leading Newspapers.

  10. Organized & Chaired a number meetings on Culture of Peace, Cultural Heritage, Human Rights Education etc. especially for school teachers, children & NGO representatives.

  11. Honored & felicitated by a number of UNESCO Clubs & Associations, NGO's in India for significant contribution in Peace Education.

  12. Organized and participated in number of Exchange Programs for Teachers and Students to promote International Understanding, Peace and Friendship with Other Countries.

  15. Organized Painting/Essay Writing Competitions for Children and Training Capsule for Teachers to celebrate World Heritage Day, World Museum Day and Heritage Week together with the Institute of Archeology & Museum Branch of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI)
